My life has been a series of adventures, struggles, successes, and amazing events. As a teen, I grew up in Boise, Idaho, played violin with the highschool orchestra, and sang in the acappella choir. I even took voice lessons because my stand partner in the orchestra did and I had a silent competition going on with her. If she did something musical, I had to do it too, which actually made me a better musician in the long run.
My parents got divorced when I was fourteen. Dad was a drinker, and home wasn’t always a cheerful place. I remember on tough days, mom would remind me I had a guardian angel, and to pray for protection. That was my first introduction to embracing the light through prayer, and it helped.
Motherhood has always been my dream and in looking back over my life, my happiest memories are times spent with my children, serving the youth in my community, and helping others. Being an author is my way of saying, Thank you to everyone for what you’ve taught me. I'm grateful for the person I've become, and thank you for being the most awesome people on the planet!

Then a series of dreams I had about a young man with a mission to save his homeland led me to write my upcoming fantasy trilogy, “Blayz and the Heroes of Wamara.” In this series, we learn how our hero and his friends battle an encroaching evil that threatens their homes, and how they learn the importance of avoiding darkness by embracing the light through kindness, honesty, integrity and determination.
